Common questions

The questions we get asked across the counter most often, written down. Anything else, call us on 01XXX-XXXXXX.

What is a decant?
A measured amount of perfume poured out of the original bottle into a smaller glass atomiser. A 100ml bottle of Khamrah is Tk 4,500; instead of buying all of it, you can take 10ml for Tk 700. It is the identical liquid, because it comes out of that same bottle.
Is decanted perfume the real thing?
Yes. Decants are poured from the same bottles we sell over the counter — there is no separate stock. Our POS records which bottle each pour came out of and how many millilitres are left in it, so the trail is there if you ever want to see it.
What does the decant come in?
A glass atomiser with a working spray head. The 2ml and 5ml sizes come in a small box; 10ml and 20ml come with a labelled atomiser. Every vial carries a sticker with the perfume name and the volume, so you will not end up with three unmarked bottles in a drawer.
Why does a decant cost more per millilitre?
The vial, the atomiser, the label and the time it takes to pour do not get cheaper when the amount gets smaller. So 2ml has the highest per-ml price and 20ml the lowest. Every product page prints the per-ml figure next to each size so you can do the maths yourself rather than take our word for it.
Is a clone a fake?
No. Fragrance formulas cannot be copyrighted, so houses can legally make their own version of a famous scent and sell it under their own name. That is a clone. A fake copies the brand name, the bottle and the box to pass itself off as the original — we do not sell those, and never will.
How long does delivery take?
One to two working days inside Dhaka, two to four outside. Delivery is Tk 60 in Dhaka and Tk 120 elsewhere, and it is free on orders over Tk 3,000.
How can I pay?
Cash on delivery, bKash, Nagad or Rocket. If you pay in advance, put the transaction ID into the checkout form and we will match it against our end before the parcel goes out.
Can I return something I do not like?
Sealed full bottles, yes — within 3 days, unopened. Decants, no, because they were poured specifically for your order and cannot go back into stock. That is exactly why we would rather sell you a Tk 200 decant first than a Tk 12,000 bottle you regret.
How do I know which perfume suits me?
Answer a few questions on our scent finder and it will narrow the catalogue down for you. But the honest answer is that perfume smells different on different skin, so the only reliable test is wearing it. Take a 2ml decant, use it for a week, then decide.
How should I store perfume?
Away from light, heat and damp — so not the bathroom shelf and not the windowsill. In its box, inside a cupboard, is ideal. Stored properly a bottle stays good for three to five years easily.
